How to Adjust Hight and Angle of Beam Truck
A beam truck is very important and helpful in the textile industry, because of its characters to lift the beams from one place to another place exactly, which could decrease the production cost and the safety of workers greatly. So it is a must for the workers who operate the machine skilled in how to adjust the hight and angle of the beam truck.
Adjust Hight and Angle of Beam Truck
The following are steps that workers can take to adjust hight and beam trucks correctly in the textile industry:
1. Check the Owner's Manual
The first step in adjusting hight and beam trucks is to consult the owner's manual the vehicle, which manual provides information on the recommended angle of the beam and the location of the adjusting screws.
2. Find a Suitable Location
Find a flat, level surface to park the vehicle and adjust the hight. Find a place where away from other vehicles, buildings, or any other objects that may interfere with the beam angle. Ensure that the vehicle is parked on level ground, and all the tires are inflated to the correct pressure.
3. Measure the Distance from the Ground
Measure the distance from the ground to the center of the headlight with a measuring tape or ruler, to help determine the proper angle for the beam.
4. Mark the Wall
Park the vehicle about 25 feet away from a flat wall or garage door, turn on the hight, and mark the center of the headlight beams on the wall using a piece of tape.
5. Adjust the Beams
Use the adjustment screws on the top and sides of the headlight assembly to adjust the angle of the beam. Adjust the beams until the center of the beam lines up with the mark on the wall.
6. Check the High-Beam Lights
Turn on the high-beam lights and adjust them as necessary to ensure that the beam does not blind oncoming drivers.
7. Adjust the Beam Trucks
Use the adjustment screws located on the top and sides of the beam truck assembly to adjust the angle of the beam until the center of the beam lines up with the mark on the wall.
8. Test Drive
After adjusting the hight and beam trucks, take the vehicle for a test drive. Ensure that the beams are correctly adjusted, and the driver has optimal visibility in low-light conditions.
Conclusion
In conclusion, adjusting hight and beam trucks in the textile industry is a vital task that ensures the safety of workers. Workers should follow the steps outlined above to adjust the beams correctly and ensure optimal visibility for the driver. Regular checks of the adjustment should be done, and adjustments made whenever necessary to guarantee that the beams are correctly adjusted.
SUNTECH ST-MBT-02I Warp Beam Truck ( Warp Beam Carrier )
The driving system of SUNTECH ST-MBT-02I warp beam truck ( warp beam carrier ) comprises two drive wheels and three supporting wheels. The beam truck's direction of travel is controlled by a handle, which is connected to an electric steering system that reduces labor by five times when turning. To drive the beam truck over long distances, the operator turns the handle to the linear position and retracts the beam truck, before flipping the speed knob. On the other hand, to reach the weaving beam or looms, the operator turns the handle to the vertical position and extends the beam truck before driving the beam truck. The left or right driving wheels can be controlled separately to adjust the parallelism of the beam truck and the beam/loom.
The beam truck has a side shift function that allows the hook to move left and right up to 100mm when the beam truck is standing still. This function is convenient, safe, and time-saving when adjusting the beam position in limited space. The hook has detachable pads that accommodate different beam heads, such as those of The Picanol and Toyota.
Our warp beam truck also features a harness mounting system that the operator can control using both the handle and the remote. The harness mounting device is driven by an electric linear actuator that enables it to go up, go down, stretch, and contract. When loading work onto looms, the operator can use the handle to position the harness mounting device roughly, before using the remote to fine-tune insertion from the other side of the loom. This process makes the working process more convenient, accurate, and safe.
Features of ST-MBT-02I Fully Electric Warp Beam Trolley:
1. Suitable for bottom beam transportation, inserting in weaving machines, and weighing weaving beams up to 1800kg with beam width as per requirement.
2. Additional loading capacity of 300kg for a harness.
Applicable for any weaving machine with a normal working width of 170-340cm without changing its size.
3. Accommodates harness with standard take-up for harness frame and contact/dividing rails or complete warp stop motion.
4. Low noise, free maintenance, and environmentally friendly AC motor.
5. Gel battery with a fast charging time of 3-4 hours and twice the lifetime of a lead-acid battery; suitable for operating in the extreme temperature range of -50℃~50℃.
6. Electric power steering system, reducing the manpower required for steering by 5%.
7. Side shift function for safe and time-saving beam location in limited space.
8. Remote control for harness mounting device, including going up and down, stretching out, and retracting.
9. Warranty extension available at SUNTECH compared to other suppliers.
Overall, our fully electric warp beam lift beam truck with harness mounting device boasts excellent performance, rich operability, and streamlined design. In addition, The beam truck boasts an alluring color palette, comprising Hermes orange and lustrous black tones, with delicate highlights of white, blue, and red that serve to differentiate its various components. This harmonious blend of colors creates a sophisticated and refined aesthetic for the beam truck.
